As a Commercial Banking professional, I’ve always had a passion for three industries in particular: Manufacturing, Technology, and Higher Education. Since I grew up helping in my father’s welding shop, I developed a keen interest in fabrication and I always appreciated the extent to which technology was integrated to create efficiencies; and lastly, Higher Education plays a critical role in advancing the Manufacturing and Technology sectors. I’m constantly amazed at how these three industries are uniting.
Over the course of the last three years I’ve had the privilege of attending Pacific Coast Banking School – a doctorate-level banking and leadership program at the University of Washington. This program has greatly enhanced the formal education I received through the University of Idaho and my 8+ year career experience in Commercial Banking.
I’ve recently teamed up with First Interstate Bank a premier regional community bank, where my formal title is “Commercial Relationship Manager”, a title that often comes with stereotypes, whether positive or negative. My primary role in working with your company, however, is that of a proactive partner who complements your financial team to allow your organization to take advantage of opportunities at the appropriate times. I’m an online marketer, creator, and innovator. I love being behind a camera and creating awesome things for the Internet. My past includes a long career in Auto Body Repair. As a heavy collision specialist, I was trusted with heavy collision repairs on Lexus, Mercedes, and more. I put in the hours and learned all aspects of the trade to eventually earn a six-figure income in a confused market. After a life-changing injury, 3 years of therapy, Doctors, legal battles and depression, my family and I lost everything. We still had/have each other and amazing encouraging friends and family. With the love and care of my wife, I was able to reinvent myself. With the underlying need to support our young family I utilized my creative talents, diagnostic skills, and entrepreneurial spirit to begin building on the Internet instead of repairing stuff!
In 2011 I launched Kinetek Media, a social media agency to help local businesses and organizations navigate social platforms to support their current marketing strategies. Kinetek has pivoted a few times as the needs of the market changed. Kinetek Media is a boutique digital marketing agency located in Spokane, Washington. Using art, data, and empathy, the Kinetek team will drive results with brand stories. Kinetek specializes in helping food-related businesses, events, and entertainment.
In 2020, I launched Display Theory. A digital signage and in house display solution for businesses, malls, venues and more. We specialize in interactive menus, sales videos, and informational displays. We help businesses install screens and design usage opportunities.
Today, I am the founder and CEO of Kinetek Media and Display Theory. I am a host of the Lilac City Leadership Podcast and Irons in the Fire Podcast.
